May Meetup - Coding the Coder - AI Agents

Welcome to the EdinburghJS May Meetup! We will be meeting on Tuesday 19th May, 18:30 for light refreshments and talks at the Perk offices, Nova House, 3-5 Ponton Street.

Our talk this month is the rescheduled from Dennis Stanoev on “Coding the Coder”

Modern coding agents feel like magic, but behind every agent is a simple execution loop. In this talk, we’ll work through a small but functional implementation of a coding agent. You’ll see exactly how a simple conversation loop, a tool registry, and a file-system harness turn a chat prompt into a “developer”.
